Tiny twist pretzels
White frosting, in a tube, the kind that will harden, or you can do peanut butter
Directions: Lay out your Nutter Butters on a tray. Take your pretzels and very gently break the bottom (round part) of the pretzel off--this leaves you with the two loopy parts of the pretzel. Use your white frosting to "glue" the pretzel "antlers" onto the top of the Nutter Butter.

Homemade Raisins
Explain to children that before refrigerators and freezers people had to find a way to keep fruits and vegetables from spoiling, so people would dry, can, and make preserves.
Dry seedless grapes to make raisins.
Grapes must be prepared before drying by cracking the skin.
Crack the skin by plunging grapes into boiling water for 30 seconds.
Then plunge into cold water to stop the cooking process.
Let them drain on paper towels.
Place the grapes on a greased cooling rack on top of a cookie sheet, and place in an oven
Preheat oven and oven to 140 degrees.
Leave the oven door ajar and dry for 30-60 minutes, periodically testing for doneness.
