Meet Mr. Newspaper Nelson

Picture
Newspaper Nelson
Get six newspaper sheets that open large. Fold them in half. Stuff the inside with newspaper, and staple all sides that are open (leaving a place for arms and legs). Nelson's arms and legs are folded long newspaper pages. His hands and feet are just drawn free hand.  I added a bowtie, a mouth, googly eyes, and a mustache.  He is quiet a sight when you introduce him!  He is loved by all!
On the back of him, you will add things that start with "N".  I also have the sign language N, and a plastic N glued to his body.

Newspaper Nelson
When you want the news today,
Newspaper Nelson has plenty to say.
Newspaper Nelson is all covered in news,
With plenty of stuff that you might use!
News, the weather, and comics for you,
He can be funny and helpful it's true!
Newspaper Nelson is in class today!
Make sure you listen to what he might say!
