Art Center-Children learn about color, texture, and line in the Art Center. This center allows them to experiment with concepts they have learned.

-Add liquid dish soap to tempera paint it washes out of clothes easily.
-Display work by famous artists
-Have a scrap box-teaches children to recycle.
-Make play dough
-Recycle old crayons to make new larger ones. Peel off paper and place in 5 oz paper cups. Microwave at 30 second intervals until melted. Peel off paper and use the new crayon.
-Have children keep art journals.
