Block Center
In your block center you will want to put any type of block possible in there.
I used to take pictures of different ways to stack blocks and put them in a book and children would try to copy the picture.
Blocks are for all ages---YES even first, second, and third graders! Look for blocks at garage sales.
Items to add to your block center:
Wooden blocks, brick-style blocks, cardboard blocks, foam blocks, waffle blocks, thistle blocks, large plastic interlocking blocks, cardboard tubes, cardboard boxes, plastic containers, decorative stones, small flags, toy vehicles, small signs, plastic people, plastic animals, and dinosaurs, paper cups for stacking, tablecloths measuring tape, construction hats, safety glasses, kid tools.
